Building Confidence

Father and son team Bill and Brad Lamont began their construction career together in 1990, installing custom closets. Since then, they have added employees, put together a team of quality subcontractors, suppliers, and other service professionals, and developed expertise in a number of key areas. Their company, Rock Solid Builders, specializes in new construction and restoration of residential and commercial buildings in the Baltimore metropolitan area and throughout Maryland. They can do everything from installing a sophisticated, modern bathroom in your turn-of-the-century townhouse to SIP building a 4,000 square foot estate home on that plot of land you've been saving for retirement.

Some of their capabilities include:
  • Residential home building
  • Remodeling and historic renovation
  • Additions
  • Fire and water damage restoration
  • Light commercial and industrial space conversion

A recent project consisted of a mixed-use development with twelve new townhouses and two commercial spaces.

We think it's fair to say Brad and Bill
have come a long way from installing closets.

Rock Solid Builders is a "design/build" company. That means we can help you at the earliest stages, when the key decisions are being made, or later, when architect's drawings are in place. Customers benefit from a broad knowledge of energy-efficient and eco-friendly materials, modern construction techniques, and a sophisticated design sensibility.
"We had the pleasure of working with Rock Solid Builders on the renovation of our home which included a new kitchen, master bath, powder room, installation of hardwood floors and a custom railing. We were provided an accurate initial assessment of the scope and cost of our projects. We recommend Rock Solid highly and without reservation. Our projects were executed with care and precision. Through out the course of the projects, there was close and meticulous supervision of the subcontractors. Our complete satisfaction was Rock Solid’s goal and it was accomplished."
